Game Plan

We know exactly what we're building and how we're building it. The She Plays Africa™ model is targeted, repeatable, and designed to scale. Here is where we are, where we're going and how we get there.

04

05

Identify the Community

We connect with women's football teams in under-resourced communities — teams that exist, that have players, that are ready to compete. The talent is already there. What's missing is the funding.

01

Fund the Access

We cover the specific costs that determine whether a team can formally compete — player registrations, league fees, and the administrative costs of participation. Direct, targeted, traceable.

02

Enable Formal Competition

Players are registered. The team competes in an official league. The girls are counted — in the system, with the recognition and dignity that formal participation provides.

03

Sustain and Measure

We fund continuity across a full season — not a one-off gesture. We track participation, document impact, and produce reporting for donors, partners, and sponsors. The data builds the case for the next community.

Replicate

One team proves the concept. The impact report goes to the next donor. The next team gets funded. The model repeats. This is how we scale.

Where We Are.
Where We Are Going.

  • PHASE ONE.

    Prove the model.
    Langa, Cape Town.

Season One is underway. A women's football team in Langa — one of South Africa's most historically significant communities — is registered, funded, and competing. This is our proof of concept. Every registration paid, every match played, every player counted is evidence that the model works.

    Underway — 2025

  • PHASE TWO.

    Phase Two

    Build the system.
    Multiple communities.

With Season One complete and an impact report in hand, we expand. New communities. New teams. Founding Champion partnerships and corporate sponsors fund the growth. The She Plays Africa™ model becomes a recognised, replicable program with documented outcomes and a growing network of players, coaches, and communities behind it.

    2026 — 2027

  • PHASE THREE.

    National reach.
    Every province.

A She Plays Africa™ team in every major South African province. A national program with institutional partnerships — sporting associations, government bodies, international development organisations. The Foundation becomes a recognised name in women's sport and social development across South Africa.

    2027 — 2029

  • THE HORIZON.

    Continental.
    She Plays Africa.

    Africa.

    The long view.

The She Plays Africa™ model expands beyond South Africa's borders — into communities across the continent where the same barriers exist and the same talent waits.
